family fun + 35 straight

Got an invite to go shoot some clay birds at a friends huntin camp.  I had a couple hundred shells for the boys and I to burn up so we packed up and went.

Got to the crack of noon at about lunch time 


Did some relaxing and shooting the bull, here's momma, my oldest, and aunt Mary.


After eating lunch from the huge spread of food they had out, it was time to pick teams and start shooting.
For the most part, each round was close and my boys shot VERY well, makes a dad damn proud to see that.

Then out came the MONEY, I went 23 for 25 the first round so I had to get into the gambling 



After eliminating the entire camp, it was down to me and an old guy named Pete.  Being I'm the "duck-man" of camp, I really had the pressure on and came through with my head held high.    We both went 35 straight and decided
to split the pot.

Hundreds and hundreds of shotgun shells were burnt up, my shoulder and cheek are a bit sore this morning.

Sounds like some perdy good shooting me Pal. You woulda loved it even more if it boiled down to you and one of your boys left standing up there wouldn't ya
