Received my Pin Mandrels Today

My Pin Mandrels arrived today and I am really happy with them. I have used the 1/2" and 3/4" ones and they work great. These will make my turning of game calls so much easier and I think much better. There is no give whatsoever like there is in a pen mandrel. I also like that I can switch the blank around a lot quicker than with the 7mm mandrel. This makes it much better when sanding especially.

Gene, I thought I'd give Chad "builderone at THO" a try on his phone and I actually got ahold of him. He was back in some small town getting supplies. I told him you got the mandrels and that made his day. He said he got a mule deer but no elk yet. I forgot to ask if he was bringing the cape home. If he does then I guess I'll have to mount it up for him.

Glad you got to talk with him. I know he was concerned that the USPS had lost the package. It took 13 days for it to get here.
