Owl Hooters

I have been busy turning owl hooters, coyote calls and squirrel calls. Here is a picture of 8 hooters I finished today. From l to r the woods are: purpleheart, cocobolo, bocote, olivewood, bocote. purpleheart, marblewood and purpleheart.

The Owl hooter is used to make a turkey give up his location buy shockinging him to gobble.
You can also use crow calls for this or a coyote howler, peacock call, hawk,.......and many more but owl and crow are the most popular. :wink:
