First Kill Ever!!!!!!!

My Daughter has never wanted to kill anything........ So she would go with me and take pics for me....
I even have old home movies of me callin ducks into the decoys just so she can run out and scare em off...
On the opening day of tree rat season I handed her the same old 4-10 that I killed my first tree rat with, and said .....Do ya want it? she said sure.
When we seen the first one she said can I shoot it and I said yep......BANG......then she said that was so COOL! When is deer season? I said Nov. first is youth day and she said we are going!!! I can not wait.
We saw a grey fox and about 15 tree rats and had a great day....she also shot a big red.

She hits apples with that old gun @60 yds!!! shoots slugs like a dream. ......come on youth day!!!!!
Thanks guys I may give up a bit of hunting for a while I am down in my back and I want to be there for her.

Just wait till your sitting there with her and a deer comes in...you'll be shakin nervous just  like ya did when your first deer opportunity arose. It's a great and proud moment when they succeed.

Thanks fellas from both of us........That old .410 shoots good enough I would try a turkey with it at close range. One of our DNR guys saw me shooting it last year and asked if he could....I said yes and after he severly impared an apple he said " Wanna sell it?" I said Never
My grandad bought this gun used before I was born,,,It has been handed down to my mother and then me and now my girl.
It has an unusualy thick barrel and I had all the working parts replaced and checked for safety.
stevens 94c is also has a groove in the reciever for a rear sight.....combine that with lots of practice and WOW what a great little gun.
We both enjoy shooting it and she is a fine shot indeed.
