I grew up on a tree farm but had to have a fake my entire life because of my alergies. So when my wife did the same I didnt mind.  We just picked up this job on sale and the kids decorated it.  50% of the ornaments are made by the kids.  Nothing to brag about but I like it.  Just needs a skirt to cover up that gawdy stand lol.

I'm gonna have the girls put mine up when they come this next weekend.  They actually get mad if they dont get to, so it works out good
