Bubby took this deer Saturday with a 58 caliber Traditional Hawken muzzleloader.

i was real proud of him. hed shot the gun one time before he got the deer.

now he wants a muzzleloader  ::)

he said when this one came out in the openeing he waited a couple minutes to see if anymore were coming out and they dindt.

soon as he shot it, it dropped in its tracks...and big mama stepped out behind it,lol.

it aint huge but itll be some good eatin. i

he loves deer meat so hes staocking up the freezer.

Congrats to Bubby!   :congrats:   Was that his first ever deer or just first with a muzzleloader?

BTW, If he's in to predator hunting I think FnF is giving away an ecaller somewhere around here.

cathryn

no thats his 6th deer over all, just the first with a muzzleloader. he shot the rest with a .303,open sights.

hes a pretty good shot.

Tell him congratulations and it will be very good eating.  Are you doing your own processing?
