Just wanted to check if there was any one interested in finding a place to hunt with a group. (Not to move the LBL hunt but to save vacation already submitted). I am looking at Big South Fork, Catoosa, and Cherokee national forest south. Opinions please.

For Tennessee, you out of state guys need a type 72 7-day small game 50$ and a type 93 wma permit 17$. The weapons will have to be rimfire or shotgun. LBL is the only centerfire for yotes unless private property. This would apply to all three places listed above.

Catoosa is a no go! Walk in only . Gates locked

Why not come to Wisconsin, and hunt the frozen, marshy bottoms of the mighty Mississippi's lower river way. :yoyo:

They even have a Wrangler Campground there!!

Everyone is welcome to come to WV.  Rooms at the Knights Inn are $48.00 per night.  There are several thousand acres of Public Hunting land available and I have have access to quite a bit of private land.  Pretty rough hunting here though??

If we all get our heads together we can come up with something that will work for everyone.  I sure would like to get together with you  guys!!  Someone needs to help me with these coyote tracks.  I think Al and I found some good ones today!!  I will post the pictures later.

Indiana has huge state huntin areas. There are several in the southern Half of Indiana that are very  populated with coyotes. Theres a huge state hunting area that is coyote hunter friendly Near Seymour and Just west of the Ky line. I am in Southern Il right now but I planned to come to LBl Friday and If any Ky boys needed a ride or company, I could swing through the Elizabethtown area off I64 and pick them up and drop them off. There are cheap hotel;s near Seymour too. Or where ever you guys will come up with something I'm sure. Indiana is very rifle friendly(anything goes) and night hunting/for fox coyote/spotlighting 24hrs. I was really looking forward to hanging and talking coyotes with you guys again. A couple hotel rooms and I'm sure we could make do.  Brainstorm guys! I'm sure a hotel/motel would love to get sold out this weekend. If anyone would like to do some brainstorming. 618-772-9128 anytime.  Jerryboy

Lordall,
I just stayed there one night last week when our power was out.  HaMeR stayed there when he came down to hunt bobcats with us.  We would be happy to have you anytime!

One last suggestion, Redbird wma in eastern Ky. north of Knoxville Tn.  Theres plenty of room to hunt, you CAN use centerfire, there is no where close to stay that I can find. I talked with weedwalker, he said the best access would be from the south in Pineville Ky. See what you can find out about this. I am going to bed. More tommorrow! Hold on to the dream! RP

I ain't ready to give up yet either! Not really willing to go shotgun/rimfire though. I don't mind buying an out of state license, Kentucky would work for me, if Natchez trace will allow center fire that would be great for me. Heck I just don't want to let this pass.
