Homemade chicken and noodles(tonights supper)

first i mixed up the noodles

then i rolled the dough out with a rolling pin

then i cut the noodles into strips

then added them to the chunked chicken breast i had boiling and this is the end result

howd you make the stock for it ?   Looks delicious, we're having soup and sandwiches but my soup tonight is cambells chunky steak and tater  :pout:

i cubed up 3 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast and bolied it in 6 quarts of water seasoned with Millers Chicken flavored soup base.i use thtat seasoning for all my chicken dishs that require stock.

That look's more than delicious cathryn.  What are the ingredients for the noodles as I have never built them from scratch.

wow alscalls, howd you end up with such a good woman?  :biggrin:


pitw.....all thats in them is 4 cups of all purpose flour, some salt to taste..bout 2 tsp? or so and 8 egg yolks. its just a recipe from memory i used to make wih my grandma. i make more or less depending on how many people im feedin and adjust the recipe accordingly.

i save the egg whites for pies and stuff by freezin them.

Thankyou ma'am.  I'll be trying this directly.  I won't be saving the whites though as we are now getting 16 eggs a day from our chickens.

BUT alexys has ordered more noodles so were gonna make her a small batch today. she loved em.
