I have just purchased a Verona shotgun used from Gander Mntn. Can't pick it up yet due to the interminable "instantaneous" three day background check. Thats a topic for another day though.

Anyone ever use one of these guns? It is a semi auto with a magazine cutoff and 28 inch barrel with removable choke tubes. Seems to function much like a mossberg or similar with button placement. Couldn't beat the price.

Question I had was what choke system do they use? Accu-choke like mossberg, or remchoke or invector like browning/Winchester? Staffer there said it is a proprietary system but I think not.

Verona's are built by Rizzini aren't they?
I'm pretty sure they do have their own choke system.

Thanks for the info guys. Was hoping that Benelli or maybe Franchi chokes fit as they are of similar design with the threads forward on the tube as opposed to the big three being on the rear of the tube. Still haven't found info on thread size and pitch, to see what crossreferences.
