Digital Camera?

Gonna get me a new Camera tomorrow. Any recommendations for less than $300?

Canon PowerShot SD1100IS

This is a very good camera. Amazon has it for $149. Best Buy and Office Depot also carry it.

I know several people that have a Kodak Z710. I do too and they seem to work well. They take AA batteries.

All the pix I have posted here and on my site were taken with a fujifilm s700, 10x zoom...uses aa batteries and under 300.

I've always wanted to try one of those cannon Powershots. I dont have the money for a Fuji like Nasty does.

aS HIDEHUNTER axed....well under $300.00.....$250.00 or less for mine which is now older model.......you can swing it Jimbo !!!.....if your looking for a pocket, close shot camera get a tiny digital fo sho....if you want to do some serious outdoor photos get a bigger zoooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I agree on the bigger zoom. Mine has 3 x optical and that is not enough. The digital 10 x on my camera is worthless. You need it to be optical zoom.

I got a Fujifilm Finepix S1000 10MP 12x optical zoom for a great deal. $189. And i LOVE it. Thanks for all the info.

I did have to talk myself into it...the way things are going ya never know what will happen job wise but we are supposedly secure so I went for it....I figured if I ever needed to id have to sell some toys

I'm going to be upgrading my camera. I'll sell an Olympus UZ570 AND the memory stick for $250.00

It's a 10 mega pixel and 20X optical zoom.

Ask Champion about some of my pictures.... I bet he'll vouch for me. :)

Yeah he will.
One picture sticks out in my memory the most out of all of them. And that was a zoomed close up of your dog bringing a duck back I believe, maybe he was just swimming back, but the picture was so crystal clear you could see other fowl flying over head through the reflection in the dogs eyes. Unfrickin believable.
