Made my last trip in to brush and cut my spring bear trail.  Great day in the twenties up high and in the mid teens down in the valleys.  Hauled in some lumber to build the stand come spring.  Coming out pulled the couple dozen snares I had set and some trail sets.  There was no sign of fur cutting this new trail, loads of hare but no lynx and only a few fox on the older trail up till today, had a lynx and to my amazment two sets of wolf tracks go through.  I may set more traps next year, this trail was cut for my black bear stand, maybe with the trail cut more animals will start to run it.  pitw, nastygunz, hope this finds you well sorry I have not written in so long, in and out of the house since mid January.  Scott will get in touch this week, Bill, I have not forgotten you, I am so sorry but time is been limited and I have been some what forgetful.  We just got twelve more inches of snow and a good guess is moose antlers and sheds are under 4' of snow.
