I went with my uncle to a poker run in upstate pa.  even though the weather forcasters were saying a 70% chance of rain we still went.  had a good time.  for those that do not know what a poker run is it is a ride that you ride on a marked trail and there are check points that have a can with poker chips in it.  pick on out and somtimes ya win a prize.  sometimes it is money.  well I got a new helmet cam to play with and this was the first run with it.  I really like it and the quality of the video is better then some of the others out there.  vid is below click on link.

it is a go pro helmet hero is the model.  it is a wide model that has a 170 deg lense.  it is worthless as a hunting cam personally.  in the second clip that canam was only about 20 yds in front of me and he looks extremely far.  I am going to try it out this weekend at a birddog training day.  might work ok for looking down the bead of a barrel and toward a clay or a pheasant.  other then that it is not very useful other then the pov camera it is.  maybe like a second person view on top the scope lookin back at the hunter?  hard to say.  gonna mess with it a bit more this weekend.  I have another ride on sunday to play with it more.
