Fins and fur mobile

Is there any way to log into Fins and fur mobile to check PMs or make posts, or is it just read only? I know some other sites where you can actually log in.

Whadda ya mean coming? I've been getting it mobile, in what I thought was a mobile format for about a year.

Just can't log on. I can only read the posts.

The biggest reason for you not being able to log in and post...AND whats taking me so long, ( or saying it's coming) is I don't have the time to nose into it full steam right now.

The reason you can't log in and post is because php and html scripts are relatively new to the wireless world. And the art of rendering these scripts wirelessly is all over hell right now.
Some but not all, wireless browsers can barley handle layout rules at all. And worse yet, the mobile browsers that load all CSS and javascript files, attempt to use them, and screw up the experience even more in the process.

What needs to be done, to do it right anyway, is the site needs to be mirrored, databases and all, and preferably on a different domain, so that adjustments made to be mobilized dont effect real web users. Ours will be mobile.finsandfur.net

Then certain lines, syntax, etc need to be stripped from the scripts such as all linefeeds, carriage returns, and tabs. And then republished via a global_prepend file.

I just need the time to set down and rig it all up

So esentially what your sayin is if you move this do hickey over here slide the thing-a-mabob fifteen pixels to the coeffiecnt of the latter quadrangle multiply it be the coefficent of the prime directive and subtract 10 we will be able to access FnF on our cell phones ..............................COOL

Actually, you can access it now. It just looks funny and you can't log in.

It'll always be accessible msmith, but like I pointed out previously, it'll need a stripped down version to make it functional, and it's being worked on.

not quite fins and fury enough I say we get one of these and paint it up with the FNF Logo and then I will volunteer to drive it around for jim and show it off

OK. I made this post using my cell phone. I was able to log in no problem. Just can't see pics right now, but I'm sure that will change when Jim gets the mobile version up.

Look at the little cell phone icon, next to your reply number and date, indicating you done via your cell phone
