Voice calling coyotes?

have any of you ever herd of it? do people actually do it?


the reason im wondering is because a couple weeks ago we went to the French Creek game preserve here in WV.
Alexys was with us and shes always howlin like a coyote. in the car outside, wherever.

well while we were there we were walking around and she started howling. and i heard this coyote faintly answering her. well turns out theres 3 coyotes down on the other end of the preserve.
Alexys howls gain and this one coyote stand right in fromnt of her and howls back.

he kinda barked at her also.

everytime she howled the one coyote would answer back.
even after we went by the pen she would howl and everytime the one would answer her.

i was really surprised.

i was also surprised caus ei always thought they sat down when they howled but this one didnt. he was standing and would just howl. it was very interesting to see.

Jerry said shed make a good voice howler because eveidently she has the right pitch to her voice.


have any of you ever seen or heard of anyone who could do this?


incidently i took her outside a couple nights ago and had her howl a few tines and one answered her here to. it was up on my grandads farm which is a little ways cross the hill but you could faintly hear it answer her.

Jerry Hunsley, a member of FnF, is a master at it. He's got a couple videos of him doing  it posted here. There's a sound wave of it on his site too.

Another one is Tyler Higgins, Rich Higgins son. Both are literally the best voice howlers I've ever seen or heard.

i usually tell her to cut it put less we're outside cause she is constantly howling.
even when we go to the store,lol.

one of my buds uses his mouth to howl, he's pretty darn good at it.
