20th Century Fox's "Taken" was released on DVD yesterday. I had to grab it on my way home and finally got to see it last night.

It's actually even better then anticipated.
If you havent seen it, nows your chance. Awesome film and story.

Yeah, I saw it on the big screen. Liam Neeson is a cross between James Bond and Jason Bourne. Good movie.

i saw it when it was in theaters....it was a really good movie, better than i expected

I saw an add that it was released on TV last night and hope to rent it soon.

I saw it in the theaters as well...good movie, but just a tad far fetched for my liking...i.e. lots of stray bullets flying all around this guy and not a scratch, etc. Great plot/story, but I think it was a bit overboard unless the guy is some kind of superhero or something.

Yeah it's on the "need to see list".
I had lunch with my daughter today
and she told me they watched it last night
and that I needed to see it, then she proceeded
to try and tell me about the whole thing.

I had to stop her and tell her I wanted to watch it.

I thought it was one of the better ones for sure. I'm gonna watch it again tonight with hopefully less interruptions.

In the previews, when he says, listen if its money you want I dont have it. What I do have is a particularly unique set of skills that make me a nightmare to people like you"...he was definitely not kidding.

An ex government spy.

And somewhere I read the skills and technology he possessed wasnt t made up. It was actually part of what government spys are trained to use and do.

I dunno, either way. I thought it was awesome.

thats one of the top films on my got to watch list there jimbo but it sure aint No STAR TERK thats and Wolverine are my top 2 got to sees right now then taken and that clint eastwood movie

i didn't really like the clint eastwood movie..i watched it with my bf cuz he got a copy of it from his friend, and i fell asleep, i just didn't think it was very interesting. i guess i watched most of it though, i was told after i fell asleep there was only like 10 minutes left...ohhh well

Well I may be the last on here to see Taken, but I rented it tonight and really liked it. It seems to be pretty popular since there were three shelves with about 50 copies on each shelf and there were about 4 copies left. So at least in Defiance there were a lot of us that hadn't seen it.

Same here Barry, except we usually get them off PPV or buy the $5 ones at Wally World. I am going to make it a point to rent/buy Taken though. The guys at work are all talking about it.

Good choice on her part. Becky was "in the room" and that was about all - between the daughter being kidnapped and all the shooting she was WIRED!
