Was trying to get out to a chicken/cattle farm about an hour before dark and try one or two stands. But had other things going on that kept me from hunting, so I went out about an hour after dark to see if I could locate anything on the farm. I was about middle ways into the farm where I stopped to locate. I started off with the WT young group howls, had one lone howl answer that was north of me maybe 400 yards or so. Changed sounds to WT adult group howls and man oh man the woods came alive ! Had a group about 400 yards to the north open up, a single barked and howled maybe 200 yards to my west and also had a single barking and howling to my southeast maybe 100 yards !!! He was on top of me letting it rip.  :whew: :whew:    Anyways Im kinda of new at trying to capture audio and made a few mistakes with my recorder and didnt get everything but still managed to get some good stuff. It starts off with the young howls and then you hear the adult group howls.........then you need to turn up the volume a little and enjoy !  I plan on visiting the farm tomorrow afternoon before dark and try a set or two.

It sounds like the woods were alive with coyotes, I do believe you have then located.  :eyebrow:

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

Yep, sure sounds like a " few" coyotes to me.  At times we'll hear them howling and yipping here around the property but I have never heard them that vocal out in the boonies.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

Pretty cool !  :congrats:
Go get em !!  :yoyo:
Just curious, what did ya record it with?
