Enjoying God's handiwork, nobody does it better!  Thought I'd get out early before it got to hot and get in at least one stand and maybe two. It wa in the mid 50's when I left the house.

As it brightened up I did a 180 and this was my view.  I was about 1/3 of the way up the hill, on the left hand corner side with all the greenery.  A coyote came out of the cut almost directly below me heading to the caller in the flats.

This was the end result.  Over the years I have taken numerous coyotes and a few cats out of this little blind dry wash.  The San Pedro river is about a half mile from where I was sitting so I get to see a lot of game both coming and going to the river bed.

The next two stands produced nothing and it was starting to warm up so I headed for home.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

Well his caption said the caller was in the flats but that could mean his calling buddy. So if you were using an e-caller what kind was ya using?
Don't bring shame to our sport.

He died for dipshits too.

I have got to hunt out there one time so far and I love it. One of these days I will definately be back out there again. There is some beautiful country out there and LOTS of coyotes!!!!!!

Congrats on another coyote.

Minaska All-In-One, Bank 1, Call # 4 =  Baby jackrabbit.  Had it running about two minutes when I noticed him coming out of that cut.

CF.223 & alscalls you are more than welcome to come out anytime, just not this year.  We got plenty of room plus I have a little travel trailer that I pull out into the desert every so often and spend a week or so just doing nothing but calling and taking pictures.  This fall and winter however is not going to be to good for me.  Have several friends I already promised to help on their deer hunts, plus my own and another buddy drew a cow elk hunt that I'm going to help him with.

In addition to all of the above my wife fell yesterday afternoon and busted her shoulder so I'm being a "caretaker" for a month or so.  This picture and dead coyote may be the last for me for a while.

Sorry to hear the bad news about your wife.  I'm just now getting back to semi-normal from rotator cuff surgery so I know a shoulder injury is no picnic.  Hope she pulls through OK and doesn't need surgery.

JohnP

The x-rays showed a pretty clean break.  What surprised me was when the ER doc said that they don't treat broken shoulders, they just give you pain pills and send you home.  She has to see the orthopedic guy tomorrow but even with the pain pills she is in a lot of misery.  I would imagine rotator cuff cuff surgery is a long healing process.

Nice offer JohnP but it will be a long time before I get to do something like that......
Nice to know some folks still feel that way though......If this economy doesn't do something positive soon I may have to sell the farm and move.  There just arent any jobs left.....even the job services folks dont know what to do.
I hate to say it but It may end my hunting after this year for a while.

Wow, that first picture got a hold of me and I almost forgot you got a coyote that morning too. :doh2:
You know how I'm getting with these sunset pics :eyebrownod:  Even though that one is a sunrise.

Congrats on the FurDown,  and I sure hope your wife gets healed up quickly. Hopefully she's not in a ton of pain.
