My name is Casey Beymer and live in Hopkinsville KY. I am originally from Texas, but while in the ARMY they dropped me off here. I work for the city and on my time off I love to hunt. I'll hunt anything that is legal. The greater the challenge the more fun. I have been married for 10 yrs and have two chuldren, 7 and 9. I coach Baseball and have a traveling baseball team.
I have recently started coyote hunting and have found it to be very challenging. I started off on Jan 1, 2008 and shot my first at ten yds. She was about 35lbs. Gorgeous animal. I am very interested inlearning more and intend on joining the 2008 LBL hunt.

Hope to see everyone there!
Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, and thats why it's called the present.

Hi my name is Devin, I live in south eastern Wisconsin. This is my fourth season calling coyotes and it keeps getting more and more fun for me. I also hunt deer with both gun and bow, although since I have started calling coyotes and getting better at it I dont bow hunt as much anymore. work is also getting very busy for me during prime bowhunting and I don't have time to deal with a deer after the shot from sep-early nov, which is why I do more calling.
Aside from hunting I love to fish and spend time with my family. I have been married for 3.5 years and we have a 3year old son and one on the way in may.

Jim,

We have told you not to let others know you are there.  Remember, you are in the (WPP) witness protection program.   :innocentwhistle:  Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

My name is Randy Thomas and I am 37 years of age.  I have been married for 6 years and have two awesome boys one is 3 yr. and the other is 1 yr.  I moved to Western Kentucky in Aug. of 07'.  I was born and raised in the Cascade mountains of Oregon and bounced between there and Idaho as well as Montana. I am a timber faller by trade and have supplimented that with big game guiding for the past 20 years.  Until I moved to KY, I was an avid hound hunter.  Bobcats were my main game but I also did alot of Bear and Lion hunting in the early years.  When I moved to Kentucky I was faced with coming up with a good winter time activity.  No longer owning hounds I decided that I  would try my hand at some predator calling.  I have called extinsively over the years for elk, and have always loved rattling in those Idaho Whitetails.  Calling for Coyotes just seemed like a natural progression.  I live about 30 minutes from the LBL so I have spent way to much time over there during the last year or so.  For a guy from the Western mountain states, the LBL is a real blessing; without some room to roam I would be in serious trouble.  Originally I was deer hunting the heck out of that place, and in doing so I noticed the large number of yotes running around over there.  Last Feb. I managed to call in a dozen dogs over there, and needless to say I was hooked.  My oldest son loves to go hunting with me, and I love to take him.  It is easy to show him plenty of deer and turkeys in the LBL but getting him to sit still long enough to call in a yote has proven to be a challenge.  His time is coming though.  I sure am glad that I found this site.  I really enjoy reading the posts and I have managed to make some ne friends in the process.  I sure miss my Oregon home but we're making the best of it here in KY.

Welcome Randy!!  Hope you enjoy the Forums!!
