Yes, but in a different part of the property. They haven't been back to the area where I placed the trap.

Hogs move around quite a bit. Eventually they'll make their way to my trap.

Disgusted with myself....

I checked the trap last on Sunday with my wife's Uncle. Wasn't able to get back out until this afternoon.

Caught four hogs..... probably sometime Sunday evening as they were dead and quite stiff (was 102°+ Sun. and Mon.).
Getting their bloated bodies out of the trap and dragging them off was a chore....

Not going to reset the trap unless I KNOW with utmost certainty that I'll be able to check it the following day....

That's too bad - I'd think they would be ok for a few days, but I guess 102+ is just too much.

I don't think there would be a fine in KY.   Our regs say trapped hogs must be killed at the trap site.   FOs took care that detail.   

Our normal furbearer trapping regs say traps must be run every 24 hours and animals removed. I don't think that applies to hogs since they can be hunted and trapped year round.   But I could be wrong about that.

If ya put a water supply in there you might be ok for a day or two. But how much water would ya need for four hogs for three days. AND if you put water in the trap theres no telling what you would catch with as short of water as you are
