Yeah Stu, it's getting hard to look at all these fish anymore

Well Stu...the wife got off work eary yesterday and had lil-man, Soooooo  , I went fishing. Yeah the yard needed to be mowed, but the water was calling my name. I went below the house with the fly rod and after a few minutes a friend stopped in to tell me to get so carp out of his pond if I wanted them for our ponds. So, trip to the house for the other poles and a can of corn. Once I got done I ran by the house so Cam couls help me get some pics and through them in our ponds. And if the rain holds off today......I'm taking Cam back to get a few more.


































And if the cooler would have been bigger.....well, you know... :roflmao:

Man that's a lotta carp...Dont bother bring them to the LBL, they leave a punky taste in my mouth

Yeap. All mine. Cam was ...retrieved to help take pics and get them in our pond. He is chopping at the bit to go today so he'll have his to post later on if he catches any.... Not going to tell him about the spot where they are feed every day

Jim. Ya just have to know how to fix them.
Take a 1/2" piece of cardboard and place your fillets on. Season to taste and bake at 350 deg for 45 min.
Take out of the oven, throw the fillets in the trash and eat the cardboard. 

Fun to catch them.....will not eat them.

Well we got to fish for almost an hour and a half before the thunderstorms hit. And we got soaked before we made it back to the truck. But we had fun and that's all that matters. Cam wouldn't listen to dear ol dad and take several poles, he just took one. I took four and worked myself to death the 1st 45 minutes. The rain felt good to me.....LOL















The battery in the camera started to go dead and twas close in getting all of the pics took before they did. It's also hard to keep 5-6 carp still at one time to get a pic. Sorry if some of them are not the best.

Cam is posting in a few. He's got to get out of the shower and eat first.

Nice haul..... I'm thinking I might be toast.

I got home from a short wet trip only to realize I had left my camera tucked up under the boat above the back of my truck. Reached up in there and it weren't there no more   Drove back along my route and found it in the middle of the road. It's days of picture taking are over, so now I'll need to look into gettin a new one
