Crows will also give you away on stand.  They have incredible eye sight and they see color.   They can bust you faster than a down wind coyote any day of the week.

When I am just out sniping crows with the 17 HMR, I will sometimes play a distress sound because it brings them in and they sit in a tree trying to find out where the meal is going to be.   

Bill G and I are working on a little project that might be of use to some of you who use woodpeker sounds.   I wont say anymore, but I think you are going to like it  :)
