Had time for another call today so I stopped and set up here.  Wind was blowing left to right and she's laying out in line with the post.

This is where she quit.

Also seen this on my way over.

I say what I think not think what I say.

Yep that's it.  There was a herd of about 40 cow's and calves and the moose must of thought she could disguise herself.  Don't see them with the cattle often.

So youir saying she stopped there to take her dirt nap?  :wo:

WTG Killer Pitw!

I never seen a moos before.........I would probably think it was a deformed cow and shoot it if I saw it around here... :laf:
Thanks for sharing and keep em comming!

Went over to get paid up by one of my customer's and this spot looked good on Monday.

And after a short squall on the call I saw 3 coyote's coming around the edge of the lake on the new ice, heading my way.  Took this one about 2 minutes to outrun the other's right up to me [70 yds].

Other's didn't show in shooting range.  Then yesterday morning I went a mile west of my house and blew a short shout of rabbit bawl's.  This critter came sorta galloping in and stopped at about 85 yds.

I then walked around him and saw this had been why it galloped funny. :doh2:

Dang thing was handicapped  and I didn't realize it.  He weighed 43 1/2 lbs and was a top dog.
I say what I think not think what I say.

Got sent to town to pick up a parcel for the wife today.  Was driving by a gravel pit and thought what the heck and turned in.  There was a 10 mph wind blowing and I blew on the call.  9 minutes later a coyote goes by from behind on my right,  I couldn't move or he would see me.  I waited until he was just leaving the area and reajusted my bipod and shooting arrangement.  blew on the call and he came straight at me.

25lbs

Then driving home on a different road there was this meadow that just screamed "your wife's going to beat you".   So I pulled in and sat behind a barb wire fence and 4 minute's after playing "Come Hither" on the little call in she came.

34 lbs

Yep the wife was pissed but she's young and will get over it.

This is how I know what they weigh.

Well the little call packed 'er in yesterday morning.  Went out and set up to call looking over some grassland and blew on the call.  It started fine then came to a screechin halt.  I can blow softly but can't belt 'em out like I could before.  So I happen to have a few other's around so I grabbed the first one to come to hand.  Happened to be an antler closed reed I had got from braz

I let out with some wail's and was looking downwind when from behind me came a 35lb dog.  He took off as I turned but I managed to hit him as he entered the bush.

I then turn in my seat and out a couple hundre yard's is a female 31lbs.  I line up and shoot the third wire off the fence in front of me.  I then have an unobstructed shot that connect's.

Then moved over to another location that is above a creek valley.  There is a valley at the top that has three feeder type valley's coming together.  I scream out a tune and am patiently waiting when these came by.

This what it looked like from my seat.

This 19lber came down the valley

To end the day I went over to a place I now have permission on and sat behind this yard

Looking this way

I got this little girl 17lb

A pic of them all

I say what I think not think what I say.
